On June 30, the opening ceremony of events dedicated to Youth Day was held at Urgench State University. First vice-rector of the university D.Ibadullayev sincerely congratulated all young people on the holiday and wished them success and great victories.
Heads of relevant departments, deputy deans for work with youth, students living in student residences and tutors took part in the event.
After that, various sports competitions and intellectual games were started.
First, the contest "Intellectual Kitobkhan" was held. Students took part in question-and-answer sessions about their fiction.
In particular, "Zakovat" intellectual games, along with chess and checkers, were held at a very intense level. Also, the tennis and streetball competitions continued intensively. All students and youngsters who are interested in sports actively participated in the competitions and tried their best.
