Today, under the leadership of J.Otamov, the head of the traveling group of the appointment commission for holding the "Melon carnival", the members of the commission visited the Faculty of Chemical Technologies in order to evaluate the products that will be brought to the attention of our people and tourists of our region during the festival. Rector of Urgench State University B.Abdullayev and Professor M.Jumaniyozov introduced each product to the exhibition to members of the commission.
New products such as Melon powder, melon and watermelon honey, melon and chameleon puree, melon mousse, melon liqueur, cantaloupe, pickled melon and watermelon, melon yogurt, melonpan, watermelon and melon kvass, melon sugar, and melon seed halwa featured in the exhibition are attracted the attention of guests.
The members of the commission not only got acquainted with the technologies of creation of products that fully meet world standards, but also got information about the current activities of the Melon Department of Urgench State University and the restoration of more than 100 varieties of melon by university scientists. At the same time, they got acquainted with the activities of the production workshops of the Khorezm Innovation Technology Park at the university.
