At the invitation of Urgench State University, representatives of partner foreign higher education institutions of the university, including Turkey's Istanbul Gelisim University's vice-rector for scientific affairs and development Prof.Dr.Necmettin Maraşlı, Vice-Rector for Education and Training, Prof.Dr.Nuri Kuruoğlu, Head of Tourism Department, Asst. Prof. Ramazan Inan visited to participate in the Melon festival.
At the moment, the guests, accompanied by representatives of the International Cooperation Department, are participating in the festival and are showing great interest in the products made from melons and various citrus crops in the pavilion of Urgench State University.
The taste of various varieties of melons and crops, cultivated by the diligent farmers of Khorezm, which has been considered a golden oasis since ancient times, is a reason for the admiration of guests.
