Today, a solemn event under the motto "If we are united, we are a single nation, if we unite, we are Motherland" in connection with the beginning of the new academic year and the ceremony of taking the "Student Oath" was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Urgench State University.
The event was attended by representatives of various fields who have been contributing to the development of our country, government and society figures, businessmen, scientists, poets, parents of students and youth.
Rector of Urgench State University, Professor Bakhrom Abdullayev opened the event which began with the singing of our national anthem. He warmly congratulated everyone on the 33rd anniversary of our independence and the beginning of the new academic year and wished the students success in achieving new goals and results in the new academic year.
In the congratulatory part of the solemn ceremony, the chairman of the Khorezm Region "Elder people Fund" - R.Sultanov, the head of the Khorezm Region Branch of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan - G. Ibodullayeva and the professor of UrSU - Kh.Bobojonov, spoke about the reforms and changes that have been carried out in the education system in our country in recent years and they sincerely congratulated the youngsters who became students.
At the end of the event, on behalf of the students of Urgench State University admitted to the 1st year, the students who scored the highest points in the entrance tests for the 2024-2025 academic year accepted the "Student Oath".
