On September 10, 2024, the "2024 KOREA WEEK KOREAN FILM FESTIVAL" event was held at the Ichan Kala complex in Khiva, in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Uzbekistan and the Khorezm regional government. At this film festival within the framework of the Korea Week, representatives of the KSLE (Korean Studies and Language Education) project of Urganch State University Surayyo Atajanova, Khilola Rakhimova, first and second year students of the Department of Philology and Language Teaching (Korean Language) of the Faculty of Foreign Philology and fourth year students at the Foreign language and literature (English), cultural workers of Khorezm regional administration, representatives of the Korean Cultural Center of Khorezm region, honorary representatives of the Korean nationality of the region, schoolchildren, tourists visited to Khiva from all over the world volunteers actively participated. During the film festival, visitors watched Korean films with interest, and Korean national cultural souvenirs were presented to the participants.
