Today, the "Student - run" volunteer sports competition is held across the Republic together with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, the Ministry of Sports, the Athletics Federation, "UZINFOCOM" LLC, and the Student Sports Association. It is established to ensure a healthy life for students and to engage in regular sports with them.
In Khorezm region, along with all higher education students of the region, thousands of volunteer youngsters of Urgench State University actively participated in the running sports competition together with professors and teachers.
The team of our university took part in the competitions and won the "Youngest Participant", "Oldest Participant" and "The Most Passionate Participant" nominations.
For information, the running competition can be held twice a year in the "Autumn" (October-November) and "Spring" (March-May) seasons.
