The final issue of the "Poetry Podium" competition, which is traditionally held at the initiative of the faculty of Philology and art, was dedicated to the figure of Ogahi, the son of the classic poet Muhammadrizo Erniyozbek. Faculty professors and students participated in the event. The first vice-rector of the university, D.Ibadullayev, opened the competition and expressed his opinion about the poet's personality and his creative skills.
In the competition, 8 students of the faculty competed against each other based on 2 conditions. In the artistic part, the performances of the students of the Uzbek language education department of the 211th group were shown. Poems, songs, beautiful dances, and performances celebrating the life and work of the great writer Ogahi made a great impression on the audience.
The second part of the final issue of the "Poetry Podium" competition was held among the students of the Russian language education department on the works of Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin, where the students demonstrated their knowledge and potential.
At the end of the contest, Uzbek language student Anakhan Botirova and Russian language student Olesya Mutallapova won the absolute victory and were awarded by the university with a monetary award in the amount of 10 times the basic scholarship.
The first vice-rector, D.Ibadullayev, and the dean of the faculty, D.Gayipov, sincerely congratulated the students who won the prize and actively participated and presented them with a letter of thanks, a cash prize voucher, a certificate of honor, and souvenirs.
