On February 7 of this year, the final stage of the "Navoikhan student" competition was organized on the initiative of the faculty of Philology and art in order to deeply study the work of Alisher Navoi, a great figure of Uzbek literature, and to widely promote his invaluable heritage.
This competition, which is held traditionally, has become an important field for testing the knowledge and thinking of Navoi's works of university students. The final stage took place in a more meaningful and interesting way through the questions and answers of the participants, debates, and samples of the famous poet's lyrics.
The competition was held in three stages, and each stage demonstrated how deeply the participants studied Navoi's work. This process served to enrich students' thinking and develop their creative and speaking skills.
In the artistic part of the competition, the performances of the students of the 231st group of Philology and language teaching: Uzbek language education received special attention. Their performance vividly and impressively demonstrated the essence of Navoi's works. Also, songs and elegant dances composed to the great poet's ghazals were performed, and the audience enjoyed it. These artistic performances gave the event an even more uplifting spirit and made it possible to feel the deep and unique beauty of Navoi's heritage.
At the end of the competition, Gulasal Kurbanova, a student of the Uzbek language, became the absolute winner and was awarded a monetary prize of 10 times the amount of the basic scholarship by the university.
