Today, February 27, the final of the "Young Speakers" competition was held at the Palace of Culture at Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni.
The young talents of the university competed in the competition in two stages.
Condition 1 - "If I were the president of the Youth Academy of Sciences," condition 2 were questions that improved oratory skills, and 5 minutes were allocated to fulfill these conditions.
Each speaker demonstrated his skills, impressive speech, and ability to attract the audience. They spoke on the assigned topics, reasoned logically, and provided clear arguments.
The results were as follows:
1st place: Rahimova Dilrabo, a student of the 211th Uzbek language group (4.5 million won);
2nd place: Rahmonova Lolagul, student of Russian language group 211;
3rd place: Ro'zmetova Zahro, student of Uzbek language group 222.
At the end of the competition, the Dean of the Faculty of Philology and Arts, Professor D.Gayipov, and the faculty members awarded the winners and active participants of the competition.
This competition serves to develop the art of oratory among students, to form a stage culture in them, and to increase their ability to express their thoughts fluently and reasonably.
