Today, March 6, an event was organized at the Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni in collaboration with the “Ma’rifat” mahalla on the theme “Mahalla - the foundation of national values!”. A group of activists from the “Ma’rifat” mahalla and university students took part in the event.
The first vice-rector of the university, D.Ibadullayev, opened the event with an introductory speech and spoke about the role of the mahalla in the education of youngsters today and the work being carried out in collaboration with them. Those who spoke at the event emphasized that it is an important task to increase the prestige of mahallas, which embody oriental culture, and to serve the development of our country through mahallas.
At the art evening, students from each faculty of the university performed stage performances on customs and rituals that reflect our national traditions. The organized musical performances brought a good mood to everyone.
