The Faculty of Philology and Arts of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni organized a festive event on the occasion of “March 8 - International Women's Day”.
A concert program was presented at the event to congratulate women and show respect for them. The event was opened by the first vice-rector of the university, D.Ibadullayev, and warmly welcomed all women with congratulations dedicated to this great day.
The concert program featured artistic performances by the "Jaykhun" orchestra, led by conductor Inoyat Karimov, the winner of republican and international competitions. The professional performance of the orchestra demonstrated not only musical works, but also high culture.
During the event, live songs and songs by students of the Arts Department, as well as folk music and modern compositions, were presented to the audience. The students expressed their respect and deep admiration for women through their art.
