Today, March 13, a preventive meeting on the topic “Corruption-free education” was held at the Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni by the Deputy Prosecutor of the Khorezm region, Kh.Norqobilov.
The meeting discussed in detail the importance of implementing the tasks set by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev at the expanded meeting of the National Council for Combating Corruption on March 5, 2025, and discussed practical work on preventing corruption in educational institutions in Uzbekistan, ensuring transparency, and the role and responsibility of the university community in combating corruption.
He emphasized the importance of taking effective and systematic measures to combat corruption in the field of education, based on the tasks set by the President of Uzbekistan. It was emphasized that it is necessary to introduce effective mechanisms for combating corruption in all educational institutions, as well as actively involve the university community in initiatives in this regard.
It is worth noting that today, consistent and comprehensive measures are being taken to combat corruption in all regions. The role of the education system and universities in these processes is extremely large. The entire community, state bodies, teachers and students must actively participate in the fight against corruption.
