Today, March 19, the festive edition of the "Young Orators" competition was held, which is being organized at the initiative of the Faculty of Philology and Arts at the Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, dedicated to "March 21 - the Day of the National Holiday of Navruz".
In this competition, students competed against each other and demonstrated their skills based on 2 conditions. In the first condition, the participants presented information about themselves in poetry and prose, and in the second condition, they demonstrated their knowledge and abilities by answering questions that were not previously known to the participants, improving their oratory skills.
According to the jury's conclusion:
1st place: Polvonnazirova Mahbuba (student of the Faculty of Philology and Arts) and Madaminov Azizbek (student of the Faculty of Foreign Philology);
2nd place: Rustamova Dilnura (student of the Faculty of Philology and Arts);
3rd place: Odamova Mahliyo (student of the Faculty of Philology and Arts).
During the competition, stage performances organized by the graduating students of the Faculty of Philology and Arts, dances performed to wonderful and unique national songs, and live performances gave a special charm to the event. The melodies and songs performed by the students while raising the flag of the faculty received special recognition.
At the end of the competition, the Dean of the Faculty of Philology and Arts, Professor D.Gayipov, awarded the winners of the competition and other participants, and congratulated everyone on the national holiday of Navruz.
