On March 26, specialists from the German organization "Thermo lignum" Prof. Bernhard Schachenhofer and Prof.Claudia Christina Hennrich visited Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni.
During the visit, an official meeting was held with the guests by the acting rector of the university, Sardor Khodjaniyazov, and the vice-rector for international cooperation, G'ayrat Urazbayev.
During the official meeting, negotiations were held to expand cooperation, information was exchanged about the capabilities, scientific potential, and conditions of the two educational institutions, and plans that are expected to be effective for both parties in the future were discussed.
After that, a presentation seminar on the topic "We save your art object" was held with the participation of German professors. It was attended by researchers and students studying in the fields of architecture, design, construction, biology and soil science.
The seminar emphasized the need to preserve historical monuments and works of art, as they are unique, and their preservation is considered the best cultural memory for future generations.
