Today, on March 28, the next meeting of the University Council was held at the Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni. The Council was chaired by the acting rector of the university, S.Khodjaniyazov, and with the participation of the members of the Council.
First, the Chairman of the Council, in accordance with tradition, recognized the achievements of the university community. In particular, the professors and teachers of the university with the degrees of DSc (Doctor of Science) and PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) were awarded their diplomas, and continued success in their further scientific activities was wished to the teachers.
After that, information and reports from the responsible persons on the issues raised at the 8th meeting of the Council were heard. Also, the Head of the Department for Managing the Compliance and Control System for Combating Corruption, H.Shikhova, provided information on the activities of the department, the early detection of situations that may lead to a conflict of interest at Urgench State University, and measures to eliminate them.
Also, various issues and elections were on the agenda of the Council.
