Within the framework of the 43rd session of the UNESCO General Conference, which is scheduled to be held in Samarkand in 2025, in order to promote the cultural heritage of Uzbekistan on a global scale, Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni held a cultural program "Uzbekistan: Priceless Cultural Heritage" at the Limpopo State University in South Africa.
The presentation program included a video dedicated to the unique culture of Uzbekistan, architectural monuments and the scientific activities of our great ancestors. An exhibition of national crafts, miniature art and other cultural elements of our country was organized. Also, professors and teachers of the Department of Arts presented a unique concert program with Khorezm national songs and folklore performances.
In addition, an agreement was signed between Limpopo State University and Urgench State University to establish student and faculty exchange, establish cooperation in the scientific field, as well as develop cooperation in the fields of mathematics and computer science, agriculture and natural sciences, linguistics, translation studies, and economics.
