Today, April 29, the next stage of the "Poetry Podium" competition, which is being held at the Palace of Culture of Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni, was held at the initiative of the Faculty of Philology and Arts.
This stage of the competition was organized based on the work of Erkin Samandar for students of the Uzbek language department, and Bella Akhmadulina for students of the Russian language department.
Competition conditions:
Expressive memorization - participants recited 10 poems by selected artists in artistic performance.
Bahr-u bayt - participants competed among themselves based on their memorized poems.
The jury members, including the head of the Uzbek language and literature department of the Faculty of Philology and Arts, associate professor B.Rahimova, and the teacher of the Russian language and literature department J.Rahimov, evaluated the participants' performances and determined the winners of the competition.
Winners (in the Uzbek language field):
1st place: Kultoyeva Shodiya (232nd Uzbek language group);
2nd place: Shonazarova Parizod (241st Uzbek language group);
3rd place: Sariyeva Gulnurabegim (241st Uzbek language group).
In the Russian language field:
1st place: Isakova Shahnoza (231st Russian language group);
2nd place: Khudoyorova Dilnoza (241st Russian language group).
In addition, other students who actively participated in the competition were also encouraged and awarded honorary and commemorative gifts.
This competition served to increase youngster's love for poetry, promote the great literary heritage, and develop artistic speech skills, leaving an unforgettable impression on all participants and spectators.
