The prestigious international conference "IREG - Academic Ratings" is being held on June 23-24 in Warsaw, Poland.
It is attended by representatives of leading foreign universities and international organizations, as well as leading experts from the United States, Great Britain, China, Canada, Germany and Spain.
For the first time, the Uzbek delegation headed by the First Deputy Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education K. Karimov, consisting of 6 heads of universities, is taking part in the event. Among them is the rector of Urgench State University Bahrom Abdullayev.
As a special guest of the conference, Karimov addressed the opening of the event with a speech and reportedabout the work being done to develop the activities of higher education institutions of Uzbekistan, increase its prestige, to be included in the TOP 1000 international rankings.
The conference, which is the 20th anniversary of the conference, will focus on academic rankings, new trends and achievements in education, and a healthy balance between global, regional and national rankings.
