Today, on September 11, the representative of Israel's Netafim company (Gregory Israilov) and the representative of Turkey's Veradrip company (Karimbek Akduan) accompanied by the management of Khorezm region (K. Sabirov, deputy governor for agriculture and water management issues) visited Urganch State University.
At the meeting with UrSU Rector B.Abdullayev, a seminar on changing the irrigation method to drip irrigation in order to save water and increase productivity was organized, experiences were exchanged with representatives of foreign companies and suggestions were heard.
With Urganch State University, in the future, with the initiative of Khorezm region, the world's leading Netafim company located in Israel, HIT (Holon Institute of Technology), Israel's leading educational institution, will supply and install irrigation systems, provide agrotechnical support. It was agreed to organize courses at the university and attract specialists.
At the same time, negotiations were held at Urganch State University in cooperation with Veradrip Company of Turkey on the introduction of drip irrigation training for university students.
