American Council AC Access Program Coordinator Chris Cowan, American Council AC ESN Coach Maureen Rooney, from Fulbright ETA Daniel Kase, and Ottillie Cooper-Ohm visited the Urganch state university today, September 27, to host a contest among university students in English spelling.
Students of the Faculty of Foreign Philology participated in the competition, among them Malik Durdibayev, Shahodat Rahmatullayeva, Yulduz Abdalaizova, Marifat Matmuratova won.
Now the winning students had the opportunity to participate in the "Central Asia on English Spelling Bee" contest, which is planned to be held in Tashkent in November.
In the afternoon, coordinators of the Access program of the American Council, Chris Cowan and Shabnam Akbarali, got acquainted with the processes of the lessons implemented within the framework of the "Access" program and had a conversation with the students.
