On October 28, 2022, the rector of the Astrakhan State University of Russia Markelov Konstantin Alekseevich and his companion, the dean of the Faculty of Digital Technologies and Cyber Security Ajmuhamedov Iskandar Maratovich visited Urganch State University.
A meeting was held with the participation of representatives of Astrakhan State University and Rector of UrSU B.Abdullayev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs S.Khodjaniyozov, Vice-Rector for Research and Innovation Z.Ibragimov, faculty deans and professors.
At the meeting, Uzbek-Russian educational forums established between the two countries, cooperation relations with Astrakhan State University and Urganch State University, which have been effectively implemented for many years, including joint educational programs, and professors- there was talk about teacher exchanges.
Speaking about the possibilities of Astrakhan State University, Rector B.Abdullayev expressed his readiness for cooperation in the educational and scientific direction, as well as in the implementation of start-up projects.
After mutually beneficial dialogues between the parties, the rectors signed the agreement on the establishment of the Russian language center between the universities.
