Today, October 7, within the framework of the "Woman of the 21st Century" festival, in connection with "October 11 - International Girl's Day", a contest was held on the topic "The first step to women's business".
An entrepreneur with many years of experience, the head of the Urganch "Milliy tikuvchilik" family enterprise, senator F. Sadullayeva, deputy of the Khorezm regional council of the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, deputy chairman for women's issues M. Jumaniyozova were the guests of the event. The event was also attended by university management, professors and teachers, tutors and students. The event was moderated by Sh.Nurullayeva, chairman of the Women's Advisory Council of UrSU, holder of the Order "Sog‘lom avlod uchun" of the 2nd degree.
The first vice-rector of UrSU, D. Ibadullayev, opened the competition, which was organized in cooperation with the Khorezm Region "Qizlar ovozi" club, the Khorezm Regional Council of the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan, the "Ayollar qanoti", the "Qizlarjon klubi" of the Urganch State University, and the Department of Work with Talented Youth.
Also, S. Allazarova, the head of the department of organization of scientific research activities of UrSU, and a group of talented students spoke on the topic.
A number of women artisans also participated in the competition with their exhibitions. At the end of the competition, participating women and students were awarded with handicrafts, national and fancy dresses, jewelry and soft toys prepared by the Business Women's Association.
