"Festival of National Values" was organized by Urgench State University today in the recreation park named after Amir Temur in Urgench.
The main goal of this festival is to form noble feelings such as respect for our national traditions, values and customs, loyalty to the Motherland, to help youngsters to find their place in society as a spiritually mature person, and aimed at protection from the influence of "mass culture".
The festival was highlighted by the exhibition of national costumes organized by the students of the university, and the performances reflecting our national traditions. At the same time, the demonstration of the students' handiwork and creative works was an excellent example for their peers.
Within the framework of the festival, a literary meeting was organized with poetess Gavhar Ibadullayeva, head of the Khorezm regional branch of the Writers' Union of Uzbekistan, in the building of the Youth Center. This creative meeting brought together students and young people familiar with literature and poetry.
Especially the competitions in rope pulling, stone lifting and workout sports made a great impression on those who visited the festival.
