At the initiative of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics, an exhibition of national costumes on the theme "National costumes - a mirror of spirituality" was held at the Palace of Culture of the Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni. The event was opened by the Chairperson of the Women's Advisory Council, N. Atajonova, who spoke about the spiritual and cultural significance of national costumes in our lives.
During the event, the girls recited poems dedicated to national costumes and praised the rich cultural heritage of our people. National costumes typical of different regions were also demonstrated, which further demonstrated the elegance and uniqueness of national costumes. Participants learned about the history of costumes and their decorative elements.
This exhibition was one of the important events that served to widely promote national values among young people, increase national pride, and continue traditions. The participants once again felt the skills of our people in the field of arts and crafts through national costumes.
