Today, February 20, Deputy Khorezm regional governor San'atbek Salayev visited Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Biruni and met with a group of students and youth.
During the meeting, the special attention paid to youth in our country and the conditions created for their education and professional development were discussed. The reforms being implemented to improve the quality of education for students of Urgench State University and to spend their free time meaningfully were also discussed. In particular, the activity of university youth in the widespread promotion of national and spiritual values was especially emphasized.
During the meeting, a group of students who are distinguished by their social activity and initiative among youngsters was encouraged. In particular, for her activity and enthusiasm as a member of the "Qalqon" group, Sevinchoy Sultanova, a 2nd-year student of the Geography department of Urgench State University, was awarded a certificate of one-year contract money (7,400,000) for the 3rd year by the regional khokim, as well as a laptop. Also, for her activity in the spiritual and educational processes held at the university and at the regional level, a laptop was presented to Maftuna Yuldosheva, a student of the Russian language education department, and her initiative was highly appreciated.
During the event, an open dialogue was held with students and youth, and S. Salayev noted that the regional administration will create more conditions for the personal development of students. This meeting is of great importance in increasing the activity of youngsters in social life, further motivating them, and forming the future generation as mature personnel who will make a worthy contribution to the development of the country.
