Currently, the second forum of rectors of higher education institutions of Uzbekistan and Poland is being held at the prestigious Warsaw University in the capital of Poland, Warsaw. This prestigious event is attended by more than 80 representatives of ministries and departments responsible for higher education, science and innovation, as well as leading universities of the two countries, including the acting rector of the Urgench State University named after Abu Rayhon Beruni, S.Khodjaniyazov, and the head of the Department of History, O.Abdullayev.
Today, the main speeches of the forum were held. At it, the acting rector of UrSU, S.Khodjaniyazov, delivered a speech about the current activities of the university, its scientific and educational capabilities, and the results achieved.
During the forum, cooperation agreements were signed with Prof.Sebastian Werle, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of the Silesian University of Technology, Dr.Agnieszka Piekutowska, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs and International Cooperation of the University of Białystok, and Prof. Dorota Kołodyńska, Vice-Rector of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University.
These agreements provide opportunities for the development of academic exchanges and joint educational programs, the organization of double degree programs and student-teacher exchanges, internships and summer schools, as well as joint participation in the international Erasmus+ program.
