On October 13, 2022, Urganch State University held a press conference on "Issues of Master's, distance and second specialty education".
It was attended by vice-rector for academic affairs S. Khodjaniyozov, university students and media representatives.
Vice-rector S. Khodjaniyozov spoke at the press conference and gave the following information to the participants of the conference:
- Reforms in the higher education system in recent years, increasing coverage of HEIs;
- The number of state and non-state higher education institutions is increasing, which not only creates a healthy competitive environment but also positively affects the quality of education;
- Organization of distance education at Urganch State University in the field of Computer Science and Programming Technologies (by majors);
- Distance learning of foreign students has been established;
- The importance of admission to the second specialty without an exam and the fact that the second higher education is mostly part-time;
- Access to master's degree through a language certificate.
At the end of the conference, the participants received answers to all their questions.
