The seminar was chaired by Z. Ibragimov, vice-rector for Research and Innovation of UrSU. In it, the head of the Department of Information Resources and TISC of the state institution "Intellectual Property Center" under the Ministry of Justice S.Rakhmonov, the head of the Department of Inventions and Useful Models of the state institution "Intellectual Property Center" under the Ministry of Justice I. Abdukadirov, L. Yusupov, Chief Advisor of the Intellectual Property Rights Protection Department of the Khorezm Region Justice Department, professors and teachers of Urganch State University and talented students participated.
At the beginning of the seminar, the work being done at the Technology and Innovation Support Center of Urganch State University and the future prospects of this center were discussed.
At the seminar, special attention was paid to the issues of developing potential in the field of intellectual property, increasing the level of knowledge of experts in the field of intellectual property and the effectiveness of their training, forming a sense of respect for intellectual property among the public, encouraging inventive activity, and creating conditions for the implementation of the results of scientific and technical creativity.
I. Abdukadirov, head of the Department of Development and Utility Models of the State Institution "Intellectual Property Center" under the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Uzbekistan, gave information on the basis of a presentation on issues related to the legal protection of utility models and industrial samples and their use.
At the end of the seminar, the officials gave detailed answers to all the questions of the participants.
