According to the order of the Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation I. Abdurakhmanov to install solar panels in higher education institutions, today, on February 13, an expert on alternative energy, associate professor of Tashkent State Technical University Zoir Kenjayev visited Urganch State University to demonstrate and provided practical assistance to all state and non-state higher education institutions in Khorezm region. During the visit, he met with UrSU Rector B.Abdullayev, Vice-Rector for Finance and Economic Affairs A.Atajonov and Head of Technical Use and Economy Department O.Kuryazov. At the meeting, the issue of Solar Panel Installation on the roofs of 6 educational buildings and 7 student accommodation buildings of Urganch State University in 2023 was discussed in detail.
In the afternoon, a seminar on Solar Panel Installation was organized with the participation of the heads of all higher education institutions in our region. In it, the values of electricity for one year were analyzed based on the capacity of each HEI. The technical aspects of the installation of solar power plants were explained, and the participants of the seminar were informed about the indicators that should be paid attention to in this regard.
For Information, the work of Solar Panel Installation has started at Urganch State University. Today, 272 of the 550 W solar panels were delivered to the university.
