As you know, in connection with the week of February 11 - "International Day of Women and Girls in Science" - a contest of scientific developments and projects of our female scientists in 16 nominations was held at Urganch State University. The awarding ceremony of this contest was held today.
It was attended by representatives of state higher education institutions of our region, outstanding initiative women of our region, advanced in all aspects, professors and teachers and students of Urganch State University.
The awarding ceremony was opened by Z. Ibragimov, vice-rector for Research and Innovation of UrSU, and announced the winners of the contest.
28 female teachers and students from Urganch State University won the contest, were awarded diplomas and souvenirs of the university, and were sent to the next round.

1st place Matkarimova Salomat, 2nd place Nurullayeva Shoira, 3rd place Asatova Umida in the nomination "The most enthusiastic teacher of researchers";
Zilola Sultanboyeva won 1st place, Dinora Karimova won 2nd place, Samandarova Gulhayo won 3rd place in the nomination "The most active female student-inventor";
Yusupova Indira won 1st place, Umida Allaberganova won 2nd place, Khusinova Gulhayo won 3rd place in the category "Author of the best article".
In the nomination "Author of the best innovative idea (project)" the 1st place went to Khojaeva Mahliyo, the 2nd place to Allaberganova Naila, the 2nd place to Bekturdiyeva Gulrukhsor, the 3rd place to Abdullayeva Maftuna.
