Today, March 15, at Urganch State University, "Referendum and youth", a promotional event under the slogan "Referendum - 2023: Vote for your future!" was held. Members of the propaganda group of Khorezm region, including Z. Hayitboyeva, chief specialist of Urganch City Spirituality and Enlightenment Center, O. Saparboyev, deputy director of the Urganch branch of the State Choreography Academy of Uzbekistan, S. Davletov, first vice-rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work of UrSU, and university students participated.
At the event, the members of the propaganda group gave detailed explanations about the essence of the concept of the referendum, that the updated Constitution is a vital necessity arising from the development of the society of Uzbekistan, and that special attention is paid to young people, especially in the field of education.
Now the right and opportunity to receive education will be expanded, teachers will have a constitutional status. Approaches specific to the welfare state are also expressed in many articles and norms related to the field of education. Norms related to education and science are increasing almost twice. In particular, the right of citizens to study in higher education institutions at the expense of a state grant was strictly defined.
