A roundtable discussion was held today at Urganch State University dedicated to April 28 - "World Day for Safety and Health at Work" under the slogan "Safe and healthy working conditions are the main principle and right in the field of labor".
K. Khamrayev, chairman of the Trade Union Committee of UrSU, employees of the Department of Civil and Labor Protection, professors and teachers of the "Ecology and Life Activities" department, and labor protection representatives from faculties and departments took part in it.
The event was opened by the chairman of the trade union committee of UrSU K. Khamrayev and the agreement concluded between the administration of Urganch State University and the trade union committee on labor protection and safety for 2023 and the agreement concluded for 2023-2025 introduced the clauses of Section 8 of the collective agreement, that is, the Labor Protection Section.
After that, the head of the Department of Civil and Labor Protection, I.Ibragimova, made a speech and said that during the 1st quarter of 2023, the university will implement labor protection for employees, prevention of accidents during the production process, and protection of social, economic and legal interests.
Also, professors and teachers of the Department of "Ecology and Safety of Life Activities" gave a lecture on the legal and organizational foundations of labor protection and guidelines for employees of the university on labor safety, industrial sanitation, fire prevention and other rules of labor protection.
At the end of the event, the participants addressed the speakers with questions they were interested in.
