Today, Urganch State University held a commemorative tournament on mathematics among secondary school students. This tournament was dedicated to the memory of mathematician, candidate of physics-mathematical sciences, and associate professor Ismail Abdullayev, who has been working effectively at UrSU for many years.
Talented and interested students from all schools of the region took part in it and solved Olympiad problems in the first half of the day. In the afternoon, the university held a prize-giving ceremony and announced the winners of the Olympiad. It should be noted that the results of the Olympiad were assessed for grades 5-6, 7-8 and 9-10.
Diplomas and souvenirs of the university rector were awarded to all the winners, as well as letters of thanks to the teachers of the Olympiad participants.
