These days, rectors of higher education institutions are giving lessons to students in order to increase their academic activity and at the same time motivate the youth.
Today, the rector of Urganch State University, Bakhrom Abdullayev, gave a lecture on the topic "Applications of the theory of discounts. Jordan's lemma" from the subject "Theory of complex variable functions" to the 3rd year students of the undergraduate course in mathematics of the Faculty of Physics and Mathematics.
In this lecture, several applications of the theory of discounts were cited. In the course of the lesson, students learned about methods of easy calculation of improper integrals with unlimited limits using deductions.
