UrSU rector Bakhrom Abdullayev had an official meeting with Professor Kurshat Yildirim of Istanbul University of Turkey, who came to participate in the international scientific-practical conference "Life and work of Jalaluddin Manguberdi. Anushtegin, the role of the Khorezmshah dynasty in Uzbek statehood".
At the meeting, the important aspects of cooperation in the economic and social development of Uzbekistan-Turkey, the strength of mutual friendship and fraternal relations between the Turkic and Uzbek peoples were recognized. In order to further strengthen these ties, the parties signed a cooperation agreement between the two universities.
This agreement seeks close contacts and cooperation and provides for the exchange of professors and researchers, exchange of students, joint research, lectures and symposia, and the use of resources of both sides to achieve mutually beneficial teaching and learning opportunities.
