Today, June 8, in order to strengthen the love and affection for our national traditions and values in the hearts of the youth, to develop the aesthetic taste of students, and to increase their interest in our national costumes, today, June 8, this festival took place within the framework of "Youth Month". A competition called "Ability, talent and Incentive" was held.
The competition was opened by S. Davletov, the first vice-rector of UrSU, with an introduction. The congratulatory words of F. Sadullayeva, a member of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, were heard. The speakers said that this festival is important because it aims to educate the young generation in the spirit of patriotism, and respect for national values and traditions, and to preserve and develop the rich cultural and spiritual heritage of our people.
In the contest, 25 gifted and talented girls of our university showed their talents in every field. In the end, the contestants were evaluated in 18 nominations and were duly awarded.
Events within the framework of this festival will continue with exhibitions of national clothes, national games, and national customs.
