On 26, 2019 the vice-rector of the Turkish Karamanoglu Mexmetbey University Erkan Oktay and PhD Gulina Yusupova arrived at the Urgench State University. Their aim was to discuss cooperation issues between the two universities. Geusts met with vice-rectors and deans of faculties.
