In order to ensure the implementation of the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. 563 dated September 9, 2021, the construction works of a new student dormitory began on September 14, 2023 in the area of Urganch State University located on "Independence" street, Urganch district.
Rector of UrSU Bakhrom Abdullayev and senior professors and teachers who have been working at the university for many years and have gained respect cupped their hands in prayer and asked for the strength of the new student dormitory building, they wished the builders strength in this regard and the first they laid the foundation stone.
This student residence consists of 7 floors and will be built for 600 places. It is planned to have a spiritual room, computer and sports equipment rooms, a library, separate rooms for the disabled, living rooms and other necessary rooms.
