From November 1 to November 30, 2023, "Combating against the illegal circulation of drugs containing narcotic, psychotropic and powerful substances" has been declared as the prompt preventive month. In this regard, on November 3 of this year, a preventive event was held at Urganch State University in cooperation with the Regional Department of Internal Affairs on the topic "Let's fight together against illegal trafficking of psychotropic substances."

Azgarov, an employee of the criminal investigation service of the rapid investigation department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, A. Ajanov, an employee of the Criminal Investigation Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, J. Zaripov, the senior representative of the Department of Criminal Investigation of the Khorezm Regional Department of Internal Affairs, Department of Combating Illegal Trafficking in Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances, D. Ibadullayev, vice-rector for youth affairs and spiritual and educational wors of UrSU, Rector's advisor R. Sharipov,, tutors and students from all faculties participated.
At the event, lectures were given on the following topics:
- illegal circulation of narcotic and psychotropic substances and their consumption poses a serious threat to people's health and well-being;
- that it is a problem affecting the political, economic, social and cultural structures of society;
- the task of ending the illegal circulation of narcotics and psychotropic substances is considered a common task of all countries in the world;
- the activities of the Internal Affairs bodies in the fight against the illegal circulation of narcotic and psychotropic substances in our country.
A film was shown on the topic and students' opinions were heard.
