The book "Sanskrit Bobotil" written by professor A. Jumaniyozov and his student D. Jumaniyozova, who has been working at Urgench State University for many years, is considered a scientific and popular pamphlet. It contains interesting opinions about the origin of Sanskrit, the place and time of creation, and its place in human civilization.
Today, the presentation evening of this brochure was held in the Palace of Culture of Urgench State University with the participation of the delegation members headed by Mr. Sitesh Kumar, the second secretary of the Indian Embassy in Tashkent.
At the presentation of the book, the author informed the participants about the essence of the work "Sanskrit Bobotil". The ideas that the great Indian epics were written in Sanskrit, one of the oldest languages in the world, that some of the remnants of this language have been preserved today in Khorezm dialects, and that 400 such words are analyzed in this book, attracted the attention of the participants of the presentation, as well as the guests from India.
The presentation night was followed by artistic performances reflecting the cultures of the peoples of the two countries. The students of the Faculty of Foreign Philology performed Indian and Khorezmian songs, stage performances, and beautiful dances.
At the end, the secretary of the Indian Embassy, Mr. Sitesh Kumar, spoke and expressed deep gratitude, acknowledging the high level of attention and interest in the Indian people and culture. He expressed his desire to further expand cultural and humanitarian relations.
