On December 21 of this year, the vice-rector for educational affairs of the Novosibirsk State Technical University, which is among the TOP 1000 of Russia, Sergey Sergeyevich Chernov and the head of the Admissions Department, Borovika Darya Vladimirovna visited Urgench State University.
Rector of UrSU B.Abdullayev, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs S.Khodjaniyozov, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation G.Orazboyev and Dean of Technical Faculty M.Qurbanov took part in the meeting with the guests.
At the beginning of the meeting, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Chernov Sergey Sergeyevich gave information about educational programs and faculties of Novosibirsk State Technical University. It was mentioned that Novosibirsk State Technical University is one of the largest universities, inclusive education, information technologies, mathematics and electronics are priority areas. Also, UrSU rector Bahrom Abdullayev presented information on the university's cooperation with foreign HEIs, educational directions and faculties.
During the meeting, the parties agreed to jointly organize summer and winter schools for students, improve the qualifications of university professors at Novosibirsk State Technical University, attract professors from Novosibirsk State Technical University, negotiations were conducted to organize scientific conferences and joint educational programs.
As a result of the negotiations, a cooperation agreement on academic mobility in the field of education, science, and technology was signed between the universities.
