On December 28, 2023, a seminar was held at Urgench State University in cooperation with the Khorezm region branch of the Republican Spirituality and Enlightenment Center, the Khorezm region representative of the Muslim Office, and the Khorezm region branch of the Writers' Union.
This seminar was focused on the effectiveness of ongoing reforms and the task of defining future priorities which was reported on December 22 of this year in the areas of spirituality, enlightenment, culture, art and creativity at the expanded meeting of the Republican Council of Spirituality and Enlightenment held under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.

Orazbayev, associate professor of the "History" department Sh. Nurullayeva and professors and teachers of the university participated in it.
In the seminar, issues of increasing the effectiveness of spiritual and educational work in the higher education system, issues of secularism and religious enlightenment, the importance of reading culture in building an enlightened society, cooperation between "neighborhood - higher education institution - family" were discussed. Issues of organization, status and problems or prospects of research and development of the art of baxshi on a scientific basis, the role of the First and Second Renaissance of Central Asia in world science, issues of teaching the Uzbek language in the development of science and enlightenment in our country, Issues such as problems and importance were reported.
