Today, on February 15, at Urgench State University, in connection with February 11 - International Women and Girls in Science Day, a scientific conference was held with the participation of women scientists from a number of higher educational institutions in our region on the topic "Achievements of women scientists in education and science".
In particular, the chairman of the regional "Women Scholars" association, Assoc.M.Iskandarova, specialist of Urgench City Department of Family and Women's Department N.Boboniyozova, Rector's adviser on women's issues F. Atajonova of TMA UB and chairman of UrSU Women's Advisory Council Sh.Nurullayeva participated. They gave a wide range of lectures about the research work they are conducting during their activities.
During the meeting, practical measures aimed at improving reading culture among students were discussed, students learned a lot of new and useful information.
