A scientific-theoretical seminar entitled "Actual problems of Uzbek linguistics" and a scientific-methodical seminar entitled "Ways to improve the effectiveness of teaching linguistics" were held at the Department of Uzbek Linguistics of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology of UrSU.
At the meeting of the scientific-theoretical seminar, the teacher of the department G. Husainova "The role of folk art in the naming of material and cultural heritage objects in the Khorezm region", the graduate student Sh. Abdullayev "The emergence of the names of some villages and neighborhoods in the Khorezm region" lish history and similarities and differences with today's names" at the meeting of the scientific-methodical seminar, Ph.D., prof. A. Orazboyev's lectures on the topics of "Integration of the history of the Uzbek language with the subject of classical literature" and M. Atabayeva's basic doctoral student's lectures on the topics of "Basics of teaching tailoring lexicon in technology classes" were heard.
