Today, on May 22, the "Young Mechanical Engineers" competition of 3 stages was held among students studying in the technical field at the "Transport Systems" department of the Technical Faculty.
In the competition, 9 teams of the faculty competed on the basis of 3 conditions and demonstrated their technical skills.
Stage 1 – Exhibition of the best innovative developments;
Step 2 - To prepare a working drawing by measuring a sample detail and using computer programs;
Step 3 - Disassemble and assemble the "starter" part of the car.
The event was attended by the members of the University Council under the leadership of Urgench State University Rector Bakhrom Abdullayev, who got acquainted with the exhibition within the competition and wished the students good luck in the competition process. The competition was opened by Z.Ibragimov, vice-rector for scientific affairs and innovations. After that, the competition started with the participation of the students of Automotive and Tractor Engineering and Transport Engineering.
Each stage of the competition was evaluated by the jury members with 10 points. According to the final results:
1st place was won by the "Technical Stars" team;
2nd place was won by "Motorists" team;
The 3rd place was won by the "Constructor" team.
The winning teams were awarded diplomas and souvenirs by the Rector of Urgench State University, Bakhrom Abdullayev.
