Today, on June 1, the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation Sarvarkhan Buzrukkhanov visited Urgench State University and got acquainted with the progress of the construction works being carried out at the university.
Deputy Minister S.Buzrukkhanov, accompanied by the rector of the university B.Abdullayev, visited the construction works of the new library, which is currently being built in the main area of the university. The rector gave information about the construction and creative works being carried out at the university.
The new library has 5 floors and is designed for 1000 seats. The deputy minister inspected the construction works in the hall of activists and gave his recommendations. He talked with the builders and gave instructions aimed at creating more comfort in construction and repair work. It was reported that this library, which is being built in a modern style by the builders, is planned to be commissioned for the new academic year.
After that, S. Buzrukkhanov got acquainted with the construction works of the sports grounds being built for 6 sports on the territory of the university. This sports complex, which is being built in order to attract students to sports and promote a healthy lifestyle, includes 1 basketball, 1 volleyball, 2 badminton, 1 gymnastics and 1 handball fields.
At present, the pouring of cast rubber coating on the concrete and the welding of metal structures for wrapping around the sports fields are being carried out.
