On June 1, 2024, the next meeting of the Supervisory Board of Urgench State University was held. The meeting was held with the direct participation of the Deputy Minister of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, Chairman of the Supervisory Board Sarvarkhan Buzrukkhanov.
The issues included in the agenda, in particular, the approval of the admission parameters for educational areas and specialties for the 2024/2025 academic year, the "Criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of professors-teachers (KPI)" of Urgench State University ” and to make changes and additions to the performance evaluation criteria (KPI) of management staff (rector, vice-rector, deans), professional and pedagogical "Retraining Center" courses for public education pedagogues at Urgench State University and a number of issues, such as the establishment of an engineering school and changes and additions to the current organizational structure of the university, were discussed and the reports of the officials were heard.
Also, during the meeting, plans were defined for the regular implementation of the assigned tasks, and instructions were given to those in charge in this regard.
