On June 3-10, 2024, Urgench State University is organizing a Summer Tourism School for students of partner higher education institutions. In this school, It is determined that students of our Republic and foreign higher education institutions will participate, including 8 students and 2 teachers from "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" National Research University and 15 students and 2 teachers from the partner Gansu Agricultural University of China.
The students of the summer tourism school project are taught by professors of the Faculty of Natural and Agricultural Sciences of the Urgench State University, the "History" and "Tourism" departments of the Faculty of Socio-Economic Sciences, the "Russian Language and Literature" department of the Faculty of Uzbek Philology. In addition, a trip to tourist places of Khorezm region is included in the project program.
Today, on June 4, the Rector of Urgench State University B. Abdullayev and the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation G'.O'razboyev met with the students of the "Tashkent Institute of Irrigation and Agricultural Mechanization Engineers" National Research University who came to our university to participate in this project.
At the meeting, Rector B.Abdullayev had a sincere conversation with the students. He talked about the traditional organization of such summer schools at the university and the involvement of scientists from the Republic and foreign universities, organizing trips to tourist areas in the Khorezm region, the museum "Memorial of the Repression Victims", the "Kalajik Castle" in the Bog'ot district, and the "Ichan Castle" in Khiva.
