Today, August 1, Acharya University of India Chief Executive Officer Ms. Shalini Reddy and Director of Corporate and Public Relations Mr. Vishesh Chandrashekar visited Urgench State University as part of their visit to Khorezm region.
Under the leadership of Urgench State University Rector Bakhrom Abdullayev Vice-rectors, faculty deans, heads of departments, professors, as well as the head of the regional department of Khorezm region of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation O.Otamuratov took part in the meeting with the university management within the framework of the visit.
At first, Rector B.Abdullayev gave information about the current activities of Urgench State University, educational processes, international cooperation relations, activities in the scientific field, achievements and future plans. Urgench State University expressed its readiness to cooperate closely with Acharya University in the fields of IT and technology. In addition, proposals were made regarding the exchange of students and professors, establishment of joint scientific leadership, organization of joint conferences, recruitment of IT-qualified teachers of Acharya University.
In a friendly conversation with the guests, the ancient friendly relations between Uzbekistan and India were recognized. Opinions were exchanged about the educational peculiarities of both universities. The guests expressed great interest in the multidisciplinary nature of Urgench State University and the organization of international conferences at the university.
After the meeting, the guests got acquainted with the Center for the Study of Indian Culture established at the Faculty of Foreign Philology.
