Today, on March 13, the Deputy Prosecutor of Khorezm Region, Kh. Norqobilov, held a preventive meeting on the topic "Education without Corruption" at the Abu Rayhon Beruniy Urgench State University.
During the meeting, the importance of implementing the tasks set by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, at the extended meeting of the National Anti-Corruption Council, held on March 5, 2025 (https://t.me/shmirziyoyev/25909), was thoroughly discussed. The meeting also covered practical actions to prevent corruption in educational institutions in Uzbekistan, ensuring transparency, and the role and responsibility of the university community in the fight against corruption.
Based on the directives given by the President of Uzbekistan, effective and systematic measures to fight corruption were highlighted, emphasizing the importance of this struggle in the field of education. The necessity of implementing effective anti-corruption mechanisms in all educational institutions and actively involving university communities in these initiatives was also stressed.
It is worth noting that currently, consistent and comprehensive measures are being taken across all regions to combat corruption. In this process, the role of the education system and universities is extremely significant.
